Ron Jude is a photographer and teacher whose work has been exhibited at venues such as the Photographers' Gallery in London, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Roth/Horowitz Gallery in New
York, and San Francisco Camerawork. His photographs are in many
permanent collections, including institutions such as the San
Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the George Eastman House. Jude's work has been published in The New Yorker, Blind Spot and DoubleTake magazines, among others. He recently published an artist’s book entitled Alpine Star, which consists of carefully sequenced images from his hometown newspaper in Central Idaho. Jude is an Associate Professor in the Cinema & Photography Department at Ithaca College in Central New York. He has been teaching photography since 1993, and has been in his current position since 1999. A-Jump Books will publish Ron Jude: Postcards, a box-set of twenty images produced between 1991 and 2006, in late fall of this year.
