Cara Tomlinson works in drawing, painting, sculpture and video. She holds a B.A from Bennington College and a M.F.A form University of Oregon. She has had several shows throughout the US and also internationally in Antwerp, Belgium. She is a recipient of numerous artist residency fellowships, professional development grants, and an Individual Artist Fellowship from Oregon Arts Commission. Tomlinson has taught at University of Wisconsin, Syracuse University, and University of Iowa. She currently lives in Portland, OR where she is an Associate Professor of painting at Lewis and Clark College.
