January – mid-April: self-directed, do-it-yourself retreats continue through Spring

 

 

January 2: application deadline for our 2019 summer residency

 

 

 

February 16-20: residency / retreat for Tompkins County public school teachers from Ithaca, Dryden, Groton, Lansing, Newfield, and Trumansburg

 

 

April 13-17: residency / retreat for Tompkins County public school teachers from Ithaca, Dryden, Groton, Lansing, Newfield, and Trumansburg

 

 

May 2-5 : Spring Writes Literary Festival– Event TBA

 

 

Saturday May 4: NEW 6-night parents residency, May 4-May 10

 

 

Monday May 13: Regular residency season begins

 

 

Sunday, June 9th: Open House | Open Studio at the colony, 2:00 – 4:00 pm (readings begin at 2:30 pm)

 

 

Sunday, July 14th: Open House | Open Studio at the colony, 2:00 – 4:00 pm (readings begin at 2:30 pm)

 

 

Sunday, August 18th: Open House | Open Studio at the colony, 2:00 – 4:00 pm (readings begin at 2:30 pm)

 

 

Sunday, September 8th: Open House | Open Studio at the colony, 2:00 – 4:00 pm (readings begin at 2:30 pm)

 

 

Tuesday, September 24:  final Open House | Open Studio at the colony, 5:30 – 7:30 pm (readings begin at 6:00 pm)

 

 

October 7: off-season begins. The colony’s facilities are now available for self-directed retreats, first-come first-served, through mid April, 2020

 

 

 October 8th-November 23 : alumni exhibition @ The Corners Gallery. Featuring Thea Gregorious (’18), Paula Overbay (’15) and Jayoung Yoon (’17)

 

 

Thursday, October 10: reading and Q&A with poet alumna Tina Chang (’06) at Buffalo Street Books in downtown Ithaca, 5:30 – 6:30pm.

 

 

Friday October 18: reception for the artists @ The Corners Gallery, 5:30 – 7:00pm
