Vuong (’13) in New Yorker

Poet alum Ocean Vuong’s essay about growing up with a mother with PTSD, “A Letter to My Mother That She Will Never Read,” was published online in The New Yorker on May 13 in honor of Mother’s Day.  Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he immigrated to the US at the age of two as a child refugee. He lives in New York City and is currently at work on his first novel.
