Emily Trespas is a painter, printmaker, and book artist. Trespas resides in Andover, Massachusetts as a professor of painting, drawing, printmaking, and visual studies at Phillips Academy. She earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and received her M.F.A. degree from Cornell University, and while attending Cornell she taught painting and drawing in Rome, Italy.
