Jeremy Dennis is a visual artist living in Southampton, New York on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation, who primarily works with the medium of digital photography.
Dennis holds a B.A. in Studio Art from Stony Brook University, and is currently an M.F.A candidate at The Pennsylvania State University in the School of Visual Arts for photography.
Dennis’ work explores the work of theme of indigenous identity, history, and representation in popular culture. Primarily, his work involves the retelling of indigenous mythology through photography and examining myth’s role in culture, history and identity.
