Joanne Thorne Arnold is an oil painter who specializes in color and uses a variety of perspectives, lines and textures to enhance the visual language of those colors. Her work is influenced by nature, especially the ever changing landscapes and seasons of upstate New York.
Arnold holds a B.A from SUNY New Paltz and a M.A from Elmira College. Her work has been exhibited throughout the country. Her paintings can be seen locally in the public collections of the Broome County Library and Broome Community College.
She currently lives and works in Binghamton, New York
