Melissa Zarem is an abstract painter and printmaker. Her work, primarily on paper, combines media in layers that include expressive gesture, accrued texture and graphic formal elements.
Originally from Brooklyn, Melissa relocated to Ithaca in 2006. Since then she has been exhibited at Handwerker Gallery of Ithaca College, Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center and the Herbert F. Johnson Art Museum where her work was acquired for the permanent collection.
Melissa is currently represented by Exhibit A in Corning New York.
