Vicki Madden is a New York City public school teacher and writer who writes and speaks about what we used to call the American Dream: identity, education and class change. She lives in Brooklyn and is at work on a memoir, “Found Wanting: Curiosity and the Making of a Self.”
Her publication credits include The New York Times Op-Ed Page print edition and various PTA and CSA newsletter recipe pages. She’s been a writer-in-residence at Whitman College and a speaker at the Harvard Law School Education Access Conference.
She has degrees from Barnard College and Columbia University and is currently enrolled in the Queens University MFA program.
