One of our favorite programs is our Teachers Residency. These two retreats, which coincide with winter and spring recess are specifically for local Tompkins County public school teachers from the following districts: Dryden, Groton, Ithaca, Lansing, Newfield, and Trumansburg.
Two residencies offered:
- February 19 – 23, 2022 (winter recess)
- April 9 – 13, 2022 (spring recess)
NEW in 2022: we now have accessible accommodations for artists or writers with disabilities. The space includes a private bedroom and bathroom with a roll-in shower and barrier-free access to an accessible studio space and kitchen.
These retreats are entirely free of charge. Chef-prepared meals and groceries are provided. Teachers are chosen by lottery. A simple application, which can be found here, is due by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 12.
