Daria-Ann Martineau was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. After earning a BA in Speech and Hearing Science from George Washington University (DC), she saw there were more interesting ways to understand language.
Her work is forthcoming or has appeared in Narrative, Kinfolks Quarterlyand Almost Five Quarterly. She is currently completing her thesis in poetry writing at New York University’s MFA program.
