Jesse Nissim is the author of three poetry chapbooks: Alphabet for M (Dancing Girl Press); SELF NAMED BODY (Finishing Line Press); and Day Cracks Between The Bones of The Foot (Furniture Press Books). Her full-length manuscript has been a finalist for the National Poetry Series, the Alice James Books Kinereth Gensler Award and The Cleveland State University Poetry Center First Book Award.
Her poems have appeared in 26: A Journal of Poetry and Poetics, Arroyo Literary Review, Barrow Street, Borderlands, Court Green, Fourteen Hills, H-NGM-N, La Petite Zine, Mad Hatter’s Review, New American Writing, Requited, RHINO, Shampoo, Stone Canoe, Verse, Women’s Studies Quarterly, and other journals.
She is currently a Humanities Faculty Fellow in the College of Arts and Sciences at Syracuse University.
