Robin Beth Schaer earned her BA in Comparative Religion from Colgate University and her MFA in Writing from Columbia University, School of the Arts. She currently serves as a creative writing instructor at Marymount Manhattan College.
Her work has appeared in Tin House, The Awl, Prairie Schooner, Best New Poets (University of Virginia Press, 2007), Drunken Boat, andPainted Bride Quarterly among others. She has been awarded residency fellowships from Djerassi Resident Artists Program, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and from Saltonstall in 2007.
