We so enjoyed hosting these five deserving local teachers who spent part of their winter recess with us for a 4-night retreat. Guest-chef Kuukua of Asempe Kitchen prepared delicious, vegetarian dinners in style, while teachers wrote, painted, read, relaxed, and took in the tranquil and snowy beauty of Saltonstall. It snowed every day of their retreat, sometimes all day, encouraging our guests to hunker down and have a peaceful, productive stay in their cozy spaces. We are so grateful to be able to give back to our local teachers in this way.
