Thank you, Ithaca community!
We were floored by the amazing turnout we had last Wednesday for our most recent open house. And on a weekday, no less! Thank goodness the weather finally allowed us to enjoy the readings outside. Such a lovely, supportive gathering of our local and extended community. Thanks to all who showed up!
Our fabulous group of artists and writers truly made it an event to remember. With the help of his cohort, Aaron presented his work through a new game called “All the Time in the World.” Tim read several new poems and Rebecca screened her short film, SPARKS LAMPINI. Jessica displayed new work and works-in-progress throughout the studio gallery and Diana found a way to display a 20-ft installation of portraits laser cut with the Supreme Court’s Dobbs vs. Jackson decision.
We’re so grateful to our artists for sharing their talents and creativity with us over the last two weeks and wish them all the best in their future endeavors! And as always, a special thanks to New York State Council of the Arts for helping to make it all possible.
