Deanna Lee (’12) and Jane Sangerman (’14) in Brooklyn group exhibition
Deanna Lee (’12) is a visual artist (work seen above) whose paintings and drawings are influenced by childhood memories of gazing at biology slides (her mother is a scientist), the wood grain that she uses as a medium, and her Chinese American heritage.
Jane Sangerman (’14) is known for her mix media works, inspired at once by her urban NYC environment and as the artist describes, the “vibrant metaphysical space that comes from within.”
The show, Found Object, runs January 4th- January 27th, with an Artists talk on Sunday January 27th @4pm. Odetta Gallery is located at 229 Cook St. in Brooklyn. Gallery hours are Friday- Sunday 1-6pm and by appointment.
