A Journey Towards a Book
We’re thrilled to be participating in Buffalo Street Books’ first annual Ithaca is Books Festival with a presentation featuring two of our current writers-in-residence: Bernard Ferguson and Helen Betya Rubinstein.
PLEASE NOTE: masks will be required in the store. Seats will be limited, so preregistration is encouraged here: https://bit.ly/3s5GzbN
Helen and special guest Nick Muellner from Image Text Ithaca will offer a reading in two voices with visuals from their collaborative work, Travesty Show: A Correspondence, a book-length image-text essay that plumbs connections between Jewishness and queerness in post-Soviet Ukraine and in the authors’ own lives.
Bernard will read and discuss his most recent book-length project that also involves historic research and events.
Buffalo Street Books is located in downtown Ithaca in the Dewitt Mall at 215 N. Cayuga St. The main entrance to the store is on Buffalo Street.
