This was our founder Connie’s original bedroom and is the only living space on the upper floor. This suite is comprised of one large, fully carpeted room with vaulted ceilings. There is a small screen separating the sleeping from working area.
There is a large writing desk, a couch, coffee table, upholstered reading (staring out the window) chair, and a large linen closet that’s mostly empty but where we store a few seasonal odds and ends.
If you enjoy taking baths, this is the suite for you. The bathroom in this suite is the largest on the property and includes a large and deep tub. There’s also a skylight in the bathroom.
There is a private deck for use when the weather allows. The door to the deck and two large windows face east with a lovely view over our pond to the hills in the distance.
Quirks of the space:
This beautiful room used to run very cool in the winter. But a few years ago we solved this issue by installing a single air-source heat pump. This is the only room in the house with its own individual heat source.
Be aware that this room is quite close to the kitchen, and you may hear/smell the cooking of potentially two other guests in the house.
