The downstairs visual arts studio and one-bedroom suite comprise the entire ground floor of the studio building.
The 13’ x 25’ vinyl-tiled art studio includes a variety of tables, a painting easel, a utility sink, and a variety of chairs and stools. There are bulletin boards on two short walls and windows on the east, west, and north side of the room. There is natural indirect light and occasional direct sunlight through the east and west-facing windows.
The living space is comprised of a bedroom, a bathroom with tub/shower combo, and a small living room with a couch, coffee table, café table, and mini fridge.
There is also a private patio for use when the weather’s nice.
Quirks of the space:
Internet in the studio building is not terribly strong. The one wireless signal that everyone shares is coming to the studio building all the way from the main house. While there is a wireless “extender” in the vestibule, you should not expect to be able to stream much of anything. Normal internet browsing, email, social media, etc. is usually not a problem.
There is a landline in the studio building, but the line is shared, meaning that if the phone rings, it rings on both floors.
