The original studio building apartment on the south end of the ground floor has become a writer’s suite during retreat season. It is no longer connected to a visual arts studio, and it is fully carpeted, so writers only, please!

This cozy space is comprised of a bedroom, a bathroom with tub/shower combo, and a small living room with a couch, coffee table, café table, and re
ading chair. There is also a private patio for use when the weather’s nice.
Guests staying in the studio building now have access to the full, accessible kitchen in our new addition. This does require you to leave the building, but only briefly! The entrance to the addition is just 20 feet away.
(Note about the kitchen: this photo was taken before we fully moved in. It includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven, four-burner cooktop, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, blender, glassware, dishware, pots, pans, and everything you need to prepare meals.
Quirks of the space:
While we’ve added a dedicated internet line in the studio building, please do not expect strong, high-speed internet. The router is located in the accessible apartment, just across the vestibule from this unit. Normal internet browsing, email, social media, etc. is not a problem, but streaming is still a bit of a challenge.
There is a landline in this apartment, but the line is shared, meaning that if the phone rings, it rings on both floors.
