Poet alum Ocean Vuong (’13) has just published their first novel and official foray into fiction, titled On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous.
Structured through a series of letters to the protagonist’s mother, the book has already been met with significant praise and press in the anticipation of its official release on June 4 by Penguin Random House.
On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous has been called “permanently stunning”; making its way into the New York Times and on Washington Post’s best summer reads list. It is listed on Oprah’s bookclub and can be preordered online or picked up in person, starting tomorrow.
