Ilene Sunshine is a NYC-based visual artist. Her work, ranging from large-scale site projects to intimate works on paper, engages the nature/culture interface.
Ilene’s work has been featured in many exhibitions at various venues including Kentler International Drawing Space (Brooklyn), Mixed Greens (NYC), and Pentimenti Gallery (Philadelphia), and is in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum (London). She has been awarded fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Workspace Program at Dieu Donné Papermill, The MacDowell Colony, The Ora Lerman Trust at Soaring Gardens, and The Ucross Foundation.
