Mara Baldwin (2011)

marabaldwinMara Baldwin received her BA from Wesleyan University and her MFA from California College of Arts. She currently resides in Ithaca where she maintains her studio practice and directs the Handwerker Gallery at Ithaca College.

 

Her work has been exhibited at the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, SOMArts, Triple Base Gallery, Root Division, and the Performance Art Institute, all in San Francisco, CA; the University of California, Berkeley; Pulliam Gallery, Portland, OR; and Capricious Space, Brooklyn, NY.  She is the recipient of the Murphy and Cadogan Fellowship from the San Francisco Arts Commission (2009), an SFMoMA SECA nomination (2010), and has been awarded residencies at the Vermont Studio Center (2010), the Saltonstall Foundation (2011), and the Djerassi Resident Artist Program (2013).
