Melissa Eder (2004)


melissa ederMelissa Eder creates large scale still life and other photographic works that documents the complexities of issues related to female identity, popular culture and kitsch. She holds a B.F.A from Parsons School of Design and a M.F.A from Hunter College.


Her work has been shown nationally and internationally in such venues as the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New York University’s Broadway Windows Gallery, Art in General, the Charlotte Street Foundation’s Paragraph Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri and in Stadtlengsfeld, Germany. She has also been reviewed in the New York Times Magazine, The Collector Daily, Photography Quarterly, Las Vegas CityLife, Fast Company Design, and Art F City.
