Patte Loper (2013)

pattelop copyPatte Loper was born in Colorado and grew up in Florida, where she first developed an appreciation for the ways nature and culture can overlap. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and Boston, MA where she is on the faculty of the Museum School.

 

She has exhibited her work widely in the United States and Europe, in solo and group exhibitions include the ISE Center and Caren Golden Gallery (New York), the Tacoma Art Museum, the Center on Contemporary Art and the Platform Gallery (Seattle), Judi Rotenberg Gallery and the Grossman Gallery (Boston), and at the Sonoma Art Museum and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (Bay Area.)

 

Her work is in the collections of the Rene di Rosa Foundation, the Microsoft Corporation, and the Hirshhorn Museum.
