Shahrzad Kamel is a visual artist and writer living in New York City. Kamel’s work is an exploration of the photographic medium. She received an M.A in Art in Media from NYU in 2005 and her M.F.A in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2012.
Her work is included in the permanent collection of the Southeast Museum of Photography, and has most recently been exhibited at The Art Institute of Atlanta and the Watkins College of Art in Nashville.
Kamel resides and works in New York, NY.
