Timothy Frerichs received a B.A from St. Olaf College, MN, and a M.A/M.F.A from the University of Iowa. He is a professor at SUNY Fredonia teaching foundation courses as well as printmaking and paper arts courses. Frerichs has received numerous awards including a 2010 Netherland-America Foundation Cultural Grant, two Fulbright awards, the latest a 2007 Senior Lecture Award Fulbright to the Universität Osnabrück, Germany, and a Scandinavian-America Foundation Fellowship to Sweden. Frerichs’ drawings, prints, artist books, and installations have been widely exhibited nationally and internationally. His artwork is included in international and national public and private collections.
Frerichs lives and works in Fredonia, NY. He is represented by Olson-Larsen Gallery in Des Moines, IA.
