Rachael Wren (’09): Two New York Exhibitions

Rachael Wren ('o9)

Rachael Wren (’09) will be showing work in two New York City exhibitions this spring.

Rooster Gallery will be exhibiting Wren’s work in The Big Empty: Gianluca Bianchino & Rachael Wren, curated by Jeanne Brasile. The Big Empty will run March 18 – April 17, with an opening reception on Friday, March 18 from 6-8 pm. This exhibition is an investigation into the structure of space. Both artists are concerned with capturing the ethereal qualities of space – transitory shifts in light, shifting particulate matter and its mutable structure. Rooster Gallery is located at 190 Orchard Street, New York, NY 10002. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 12-7pm.

Rachael Wren: The Edge of Place will be opening April 5 – December 4 at Wave Hill in Bronx, NY. Join Wren for an opening reception on Sunday, April 10 from 2- 4:30 pm. Wave Hill is located atWest 249th St, Bronx, NY 10471 and is open Tuesday – Sunday from 9-4pm. Free with admission.
