Loie Hollowell lives and paints in Queens, NY . She received a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University.
She has attended summer residencies at Salem Art Works and the Yale/Norfolk Program. Her work is currently been show at Valentine Gallery and Projekt722, both located in NYC. She has also shown at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art in Richmond VA and Project 4 in Washington DC. She is a recent grant recipient from the Queens Council on the Arts.
